2012 - Employed at Biotage AB
I have since Jan 1, 2012 been employed as PLM (Product Life time
Manager) at Biotage AB
2004 - 2011 Working as consult in Produktig
Since 2004 have been working as consult in my own company ProDuktig.
During that time I have had assignment to my old employer PyroSequencing
as responsible for the product care of the current
PyroSequencing instruments. I have also act as an expert and Risk
Manager
in the development of there new instrument PyroMark Q24, that was
introduced in the summer 2008.
I have been the Project Manager for AlphaHelix QuanTyper, a qPCR
instrument that now is ready for industrialisation.
I have act as Project manager for Dignitanas updated modern scalp cooling system DigniCap. DigniCap is a
scalp cooling system that prevents patients from loosing there hair
during a chemotherapy treatment. DigniCap is a class 2 MDD product. The
intension is to launch it in US, which will require a PMA. Lately I have
been engaged in a pre study of BrainCool, which is a further development
of DigniCap, but for decreasing the injuries after a stroke.
The 3 latest years I have also been working for Qiagen in Switzerland
(Instruments) and Qiagen in Germany (consumables) with product care and
expert consulting about the PyroSequencing products.
1998 - 2004 Pyrosequencing / Biotage
Between 1998 and August 2004 was I employed in Pyrosequencing AB, now a
part of Qiagen. I was responsible for the development of Pyrosequencings
instrument and software departments. I was also Project Manager and
System designer for all Pyrosequencings instruments and accessories during
that time. The development work was done by external consults and
subcontractors at a high speed.
I was also involved in making instructions for document control and
complaint handling according to QSR. This was done to get a registration
at FDA for our products as "Class 1 exempt" systems.
1978 - 1997 Pharmacia Fine Chemicals / GE
Healtcare Biosciences
My carrier started at Pharmacia Fine Chemicals, now GE Healtcare
Biosciences in the electronic department. 2 years later I was promoted
as Project Manager. During the time at GE I was Project manager for
different system and instrument projects for different divisions in GE.
I been working with micro electrophoresis system to Expanded bed columns
for the process division. The work in GE gave me lot of different
experiences.
I was also working with making instructions for process divisions ISO
9001 certification.
Generally
My experiences is in a wide range of disciplines, but with focus in
Project Management and product development in a regulatory environment. I
have experience from:
- System and instrument development
- Mechanics, micromechanics, electronics, optics and software
- Interface against chemistry
- Production and service adaption
- Project economics
- Regulatory issues
- I have also been involved in different Management groups from time to
time.
One of my major qualities is the optimization of
the product development in respect of Specifications - Development times
- Risks - Product cost. During my time as Product Manager I have been
responsible for products that today have been sold for more than 3 000 MSEK.
